Custom Partition Wall

Project Summary

This specialty project was designed and built for our commercial client, 3 Sheeps Brewing Company, in Sheboygan, WI. The goal was to upgrade the upper event space in their taproom—used for private parties, meetings, and social gatherings—by replacing an outdated dividing wall with a custom sliding partition system that combined beauty, flexibility, and functionality. The client sought a solution that could easily open and close across a 28-foot span, enabling the space to transform from a single, large open area into separate, private sections as needed.

Challenges & Approach

This project required a completely custom approach. Working closely with the owner, we designed a one-of-a-kind system using heavy-duty closet track hardware to support large, barn door-style sliding panels. The existing structure offered some anchor points, but careful planning and precise engineering were necessary to maintain durability and effortless operation over such a wide space. Every detail was tailored to the unique needs of the venue—from materials to motion.

Final Results

The final product is a fully functional custom partition wall that’s both stylish and durable. It enhances the taproom’s flexibility while adding a handcrafted, artisan-quality feature to the space. The barn-door-inspired design offers rustic charm, echoing the industrial-modern vibe of 3 Sheeps Brewing’s aesthetic. Most importantly, the client was thrilled with the result, which provides both visual appeal and practical value for years to come.
