Project Summary

Interiors Plus+ recently completed a comprehensive deck resurfacing project for a homeowner in Green Lake, WI, who had a long list of outdoor improvements that had been delayed due to time constraints. A primary concern was the aging treated wood decking, which the client wanted replaced with a modern, low-maintenance solution. Challenges & Approach

Upon inspection, we discovered that much of the deck’s original substructure had been improperly installed and was beginning to fail. To ensure long-term stability and safety, our team rebuilt nearly all of the underlying framing, replacing rotted joists and correcting structural flaws. We added a picture frame border around the new deck for a refined, custom look, and rebuilt the stairs to complement the design. The entire system was engineered for strength and built to last through Wisconsin’s seasonal weather extremes.

Final Results

The homeowners were thrilled with the transformation.
